LSU is not good against a mobile QB. False!

I'm over this narrative.

When LSU has time to prepare, they have historically been very good against running QB's. See Hurts in 2019, Oregon QB in 2011 (his name escapes me), Pat White in 2011.

John Rice Plumlee ran all over the defense in 2019, but the game was well in hand.

I think people fail to understand that LSU's DE's are faster than most any running QB.

LSU will play DTR the same way they did Jalen Hurts 2019. Make him beat you with the pass.

New year, new players, new coaches, and new scheme. We don’t know what to expect

You didn't even mention the time we made heisman trophy winner Lamar Jackson look terrible

New year, possibly new schemes.
There's the good: tremendous athleticism of our DE's.
There's the bad: our returning DE's (especially Gaye) did not contain consistently.
I think we will be greatly improved on defense.

Edited for Hurts in 2019, forgot he was on Oklahoma already. So weird to think of him not at Bama.

Geno Smith also wasn't a dual threat QB in 2011 when we played WVU.

Darron Thomas also wasn't really much a dual threat QB in 2011 when we played Oregon.

Honestly almost everyone you said was either wrong (Oregon 2011, Pat White [Geno Smith] 2011) or they did destroy us [Plumlee]

A better example of this is what we did against Manziel twice, or Lamar Jackson.

Did anyone actually say this or do you just need to be angry to get hyped for the game? Not judging if so

What does LSU being good or bad against a running QB any other year have to do with this year?

We don't know how well we will do against a running QB yet, because we haven't played a game.

Also, I think your narrative of our DEs being faster than any running QB is a bit of a stretch. I'm sure we have LBs that could run with them though.

Was thinking about Bama, totally forgot he was on Oklahoma that year, and I even was at that game, shows how much that was memorable

Unless UCLA's QB has a true sprinter's speed like Plumlee, I'm not worried about him.

DJ Welter, who was horrible in every other game, was Johnny Manziel's kryptonite.
