The binder said no rebuild...was that a lie to get the job???

Yes.

I don't blame Orgeron for saying it: everyone makes those kinds of promises. I blame Alleva for buying it, like the half-witted sucker he is.

OP: If LSU's offense is in rebuild mode, why did Orgeron hire Ensminger to run it?

Ensminger doesn't want to be the OC -- he'll stop as soon as he's able.

So LSU chose to replace Canada with an OC who didn't want the job, knowing they'd need to rebuild the offense AND replace the OC?

Who rebuilds the offense, OP? Does anyone know that, yet?

This is the infuriating part. They do not HAVE to stay in, but our genius OC and HC don't know how to run a MODERN offense that hides these deficiencies. Get the fricking ball out fast and use the D's aggressiveness against them. God forbid we do something different!

We were promised an offense that we haven't seen before, which I guess is true in a way.

O makes these grandiose promises and then can't make good on them.

Rebuild my arse, Ensminger needs to be gone next season or back to coaching TE's or whatever because the game has passed him by. They need a real OC!

Yep. It will essentially be Miles/Cameron 2.0.

People keep emphasizing the bama game and our offensive production. Yea, it sucked but any body with any football sense saw this coming!

Honestly I think most people thought we'd have some success moving the ball in between the 20s and would stall out in the red zone kicking field goals

I don't think anyone thought we would put up a goose egg.

You mean funny how the propaganda machine gives Aranda such wiggle room when slamming CSE

Aranda has skins on the wall and deserves the benefit of the doubt

Steve is an OC that was canned over a decade ago for not being modern enough....and here we are.

I don't understand all the negativity after the Bama game.

Ensminger didn't produce a single point. Got shut out again for the second time in a row.

The LSU offense has two HUGE issue. 1. The OL. Our OL cannot block or match up with elite D-lineman

So scheme around it like everyone else does. News flash. No team's offensive line matches up against Alabama yet somehow they manage to score at least one point.

This is exactly what teams don't do to scheme around their offensive line matching up against Alabama.

This limits the use of a spread with 4-5 WR sets,

No it doesn't. It's the exact opposite. Your mindset appears to be the same as the coaching staff at LSU and why they're behind the entirety of college football by about 20 years. Hal Mumme knew this shite way back in the late 90s.

but more recruiting needs to be done

LSU's current head coach has been the recruiting coordinator at LSU for what now, 4 years?

LSU lacks that elite RB that is dynamic and a threat to score on every play.

Really? You think that makes a difference? Tell me again how many yards Leonard Fournette ran on Alabama.

Sounds like you're making a shitload of excuses and you know very little about modern football. How much is the AD paying you to make alter accounts and execute their PR campaign?

THANK YOU, case closed. Best running back in America couldn't hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
SCHEME! If Dabo or Freeze was the LSU O.C. that night, Fournette reaches 200 yards. CUTTING EDGE SCHEME!!!!!!!!!!

O didn’t couldn’t gamble on an outside OC which would be 3 n 3 years when If he doesn’t win now he wouldn’t be here next year. He has earned a little leash so I hope he moves E back to TE and finds a young offensive mind that fits at LSU.

its funny how the propaganda machine gives Steve the benefit of the doubt, but the same courtesy wasn't given to Canada last year....I wonder why that is?

I think you already know the answer. It starts with the letter after N and before P.

People just blindly overlook the fack that our quarterback has only been here for 3 1/2 months with new receivers and learning a new offense. Lack of Oliine play and elite running back also as putting more pressure on the signal caller That’s not yet in rhythm with all of those receivers. I guarantee you the offense will look a lot better next year
