At this point in time Texas and Bama look much better on the field than LSU.

LSU was in a dogfight w/ TECH (10-7 at the half!) and lost to Ole Miss. Alabama gets off to slow starts, but ends up winning big, almost always ... (the Indiana game in the CFP notwithstanding). And FSU and KY aren't chopped liver salad sandwiches.

With our QB room, we can drop games to KY, UT, Bama, A&M and UT. The D is good, but not good enough to handle a bunch of 3 and outs or INTs. 158 yrs passing is not going to get us a lot of wins. Give us 250 and we are in a few of these. Passing game needs to get a lot better

So what leads to them being “much” better? The fact they haven’t lost to a top 10 team on the road yet?
FSU is trash and is about to fire their coach.

Texas vs OSU and LSU vs OM were exceedingly similar games.
I think the biggest difference is Texas was at home and LSU was on the road.
Picture the OM second half melt down happening in a 110,000 opposing stadium.
That last drive to go up 8 becomes a hell of a lot harder.

I dunno man ... Trinidad was in a zone Saturday night, but he looked really special partly because of LSU defensive backs being out of position. Both that drive and the last OM drive of the first half were really hard to watch. Trinidad bisected the LSU defense with surgical precision. Really sickening.
