LSU is about to go on a run.

A&M catches the wrath of Tiger Stadium and Reed has regressed. They lost one of their best players.
We go to Kentucky, and while they are much improved, im not seeing them taking down a team that can rush like the Tigers.
State comes to us. I'm telling you right now they cannot handle this pass rush.
We can take on Auburns voodoo. They arent equipped for this.
Which leads us to alabama/Texas.
LSU is beating Texas. I dont know shite else but this team will beat Texas and I hope they maintain #1 coming into TS. I look at every game on this schedule and Texas is the only one im positive on.

Bamas QB will give Baker fits. I am not worried about Arch. We definitely could beat Bama, but we are probably taking another loss somewhere.

We HAVE to win the next 5. If you’re 7-1 then you just have to go 2-1 in the next three and we are Playoff bound

No. This schedule is very hard and this LSU team’s weaknesses were exposed. Not unless the OL play gets way better and Leavitt makes the otherwise easy throws to open WR’s then this team doesn’t go on a run. If the play stays relatively the same then this is a 50-60 million dollar 8-4 team.

I kind of got the same feeling. I feel like this game was just a big huge distraction and you're going to see a more focused team going forward

agreed. was hoping for 10-2 and playoffs but 8-4 is very likely at this point with bakers crap deciisons on top of offensive issues.
nobody on the schedule is a pushover other than maybe mcneese and arky.
UK and AU and bama looked tough. havent watched tenner yet.
this year may just end up being a bridge rebuild year. it is what it is. injuries taking their toll now is no bueno.
i'm confident LONG term. just because we spent 40 million ona roster does not mean we filled all holes with quality that we needed. it was the price we paid to get guys on the free market aka portal Lane needs to spend about 15 million on just O lineman this offseason. go steal starters/studs from other teams. whatever it takes. this line is sacrilege and not what we saw from 2000 to 2012.

That Ole Miss team we saw Saturday night might be the best a team plays against LSU all year. That was a perfect storm of atmosphere, emotion, and a heisman qb playing lights out for a half. All of that and LSU lost by a touchdown.

That seems a little over optimistic.
If fact it sounds like all the folks who thought we would blow Ole Miss out.
Maybe Leavitt becomes dead on, balls accurate and the O-line stops resembling a turnstile but, if not, it's going to be a slog getting through this schedule.
