I think that's because, generally, the tougher games on our schedule are in November, and Auburn is in September.

It is a Go Tigers. LSU is 100% capable of winning this game. I'm as disappointed as anyone with how they played last week. But, that doesn't mean they can't win this week at home. Hopefully the home crowd will give them an extra boost and it can sustain through the whole game. I'm not giving up on this team. Being a realist means sometimes there are negative things to say and other times, like this week, it's time to realize LSU is good enough to win this football game.

Agree..the reason we lost last week was because of penalties and turnovers.

We never play Auburn in November. It is always in September, and we play Florida every year in October unless the Gators use a hurricane that’s hundreds of miles away from Gainesville to duck LSU until November.

We’ve played cupcakes in every month and Alabama is usually the only tough home game in November.

In other words, the October stat is pretty impressive.

Auburn is not every year in September. The game was in October last year. The game has been in October 50% of the time over the last 10 seasons.

In the last 10 meetings, LSU has played Auburn 5 times in September (2012,2013,2015,2016,2018) and 5 times in October (2009,2010,2011,2014,2017). That’s 3 times at home in October during this winning streak.

Yeah I was just thinking that. State is sometimes the first sec team we play so Auburn wasn't until 5 weeks in.

Georgia has not been challenged for 4 Qtr.'s yet this year. If we can keep it close into the 4th Qtr. I give the edge to LSU.
