literally just got through talking to my friend's son who is a USC grad/ fan, who attended the LSU-USC game in Vegas. He said LSU fans are the coolest, most knowledgeable and best traveling fans he's ever been around. He said going to Tiger Stadium is now on his bucket list.

West Virginia has everyone beat when it comes to trashy fans. And no one else is even close. Those folks were disgusting when we were there in 2011.

Every fanbase has their share of idiots but I have been to every national championship game in the last twenty years and I have yet to see anyone be "mean" or disrespectful.
Again, I'm not suggesting it doesn't happen, but for the most part I think LSU fans are pretty welcoming to other fans.

Florida fans are the absolute worst - they are a-holes even when their team sucks. They are a-holes in Gainesville; they are arrogant a-holes in BR.
Gainesville is by far the worst road trip in the SEC.
Never had an issue in Tuscaloosa however, the Bama fans I've had the pleasure of sitting next to in Tiger Stadium are usually totally unlikable, irritating douchbags. I've witnessed three Bama fans escorted out of Tiger Stadium over the years due to their behavior.
Based on my personal experience, the nicest fans in person are Texas A&M - whether in BR or College Station. Totally the opposite of their internet fans.

Until you've been to a Flyers or Eagles game in Philadelphia, you've never encountered truly mean fans.

The worst treatment of opposing fans I've ever seen was at the hands of LSU fans and as an LSU fan myself it has disgusted me. However, I would also say the best treatment of opposing fans was by LSU fans and that made me proud.
They will be treated like royalty, they have no affiliation to the opposing school and almost all LSU fans will go out of their way to be welcoming.

I’ve been to a ton of LSU games as an opposing fan. Worst of any school I have been too. With that said though it’s not as bad as the 90s and generally the alumni are super nice hospitable people.

Surprising answer here but some of the rudest I have seen are La Tech fans. Might just be a small group of them but some saw older dudes dog-cuss everyone walking by them and call out younger girls with all types of whore comments.
