LSU should have the best DL in the sec this year. According to this ranking, lsu have 4 of the top 10 defensive lineman.

Maason Smith is special. He’s got that combination of freakish strength and speed. The others are well earned and will do great, deserve to be on that list but Smith pops off the screen to me as the highest upside.

Don’t know about a great season. Orgeron got us down to 29 scholarship players so Kelly will need a full recruiting cycle or two to get us close to where we need to be but he will do it

Not interested in defending Orgeron, but this isn't true.
We had 39 scholarship players at bowl game. There were several more scholarship players that just did not play for whatever reason.

Glad someone finally said this. That 39 number is a little off. Several players couldn’t participate due to either grades, suspensions or Covid.
