Agree with everything except the Mac Miller gripe. The Spins is a banger and actually a step up from what I'd expect the DJ to be playing

Over the past 15-20 years LSU has tried their damndest to dissuade non-ticket holders from coming yo campus on gameday.

Eventually they succeeded when they made pretty much the entire campus paid parking, put up plastic fencing and no parking signs everywhere and made it a huge pain in the arse to go to campus without a parking pass.

There used to be thousands of actual LSU fans who came to campus to tailgate and .party who LSU fans. Cars lined Nicholson, the old front 9 was packed with tailgates. Tailgates filled campus and alot of people at those tailgates even watched the game from the tailgate. That doesn’t happen very much anymore.

With the downfall oof tailgating and less actual LSU fans on campus, the crowd who are within walking distance has decided to take over. Kinda like how 3rd St in BR used to be thriving as a nightlife spot for young adults, local leaders drove them away and now it’s a ghetto paradise.

LSU accomplished their goal to drive away true fans from continuing the gameday tailgating tradition and now it has a major problem on it’s hands.

William Tate doing away with admissions standards and creating the DEi era of LSU did not help either.

But hey, at least LSU makes that little bit of money from gameday parking now.

That would work.

No denying it’s a banger. But play the beat not the lyrics.

Also played a sample from Tear Da Club Up Thugs/Three Six Mafia…no lyrics though. No complaints.

I’m not a stick in the mud.

Time for BRPD to set up checkpoints and choke points entering campus.

Could be done sporadically and without notice for great effect.

You are the loser. The cultural rot is happening nation wide. You calling him a loser means you are part of the rot.

I hate it, but I'm afraid that's where this is headed. We're already the only SEC school that doesn't keep its student union open on game days, and it's because of this same element causing problems. A few bad apples ruin it for everyone.

Our tailgate is over by Mathernes. We came back to it after the game to hang out for a bit and about an hour after the game it became over the top ghettofied. I mean it was bad. We were just looking at each like wtf! We never come back to our tailgate because we pack it up before the games, which are mostly night games. Yeah, I completely get it. It became super sketchy.

Low value people. Low trust culture. Low standards. Uncivilized that should not be allowed to walk amongst the civilized.

It seems to be a "once a year' type of thing during Homecoming.

Local Businesses advertiese street or block parties and the African American (can I say that) frats have everyone related to them in some way come "celebrate".

Can’t agree more! I also noticed those people have taken over most of the positions on the football field. Was wondering though why folks worship them and center their lives on the games they play, but if they saw them on the street would look down upon them?

But should they be allowed to play football? You wouldn’t have frickin college football. Careful, Archie Bunker.

The best thing to do is to call the Governor's office or someone on the LSU Board.

I know one person on the Board, but I didn't go to the game yesterday, so I might just mentioned I heard a lot of things about tailgating or something to that effect.

gave up my season tix during after 2020 prior to tate wanting a covid vax proof for the 2021 season. i had them over 20 years. been going to games way before that as a child. it was not like this pre covid. you could tailgate anywhere without these issues. this shite all started with tate. post covid.

i tailgated in many different areas over the years. bought parking passes all over we eventually settled in alex box area which we enjoyed. i have not been to a home game since pre covid. my last LSU game was 2019 in atlanta for the SECCG.
