100 percent real and 100 percent not a big deal. They peacefully protested and had a discussion with the coach and AD. Don’t see any problem with this. I’m all for peaceful protests of any kind whether I believe in the cause or not. As long as they aren’t hurting people or destroying property it isn’t an issue.
As for the football part of it they have been doing some sort of practicing since July and still have another month until they play a game. One missed practice is not going to hurt them.

I agree, what they did today was exercise their right to protest peacefully and seems like it was a positive for the team.

Does it count as an official practice or will they just practice on a different day? That’s a question for all of these practices/games being skipped due to protest around the country.
