I can’t believe Parker coliseum is still free. For another year at least.

Sorry to hijack but quick question:
does anyone know if pull behind travel trailers (not a pop up trailer) are allowed in he RV lots? Website states motor homes (RVs) only but I’m almost positive I’ve seen travel trailers in those lots. TIA
Bought a couple RV passes in 412 this year and want to make sure we can use them.

Used to park on grass lot in front of natatorium. Would drop car off night before. Very convenient. Would pay for the right to park there but you can't pick your season pass parking lot.

Some real good tailgating groups were there and provided a great experience for people who were walking to game. Idiots.

Of I were OT rich, I would demand my soot NOT be next to the stadium.

You look real cool driving up, but sit in traffic jam for over an hour trying to leave.

Did anyone else notice that the UGA and Bama game price for General Parking has increased to $60?

Are RVs only allowed in that one lot by the river nowadays? Used to be all over the place.

Some really good tailgates went down in the natatorium lot back when it was free. Literally tailgates. Trucks backed up.

On slow days we would park damn near next to the stadium some games and drop the tailgate and park. This was in the early 2000s. So not that long ago (to me).

My group is on South Stadium and Forestry. That whole area used to be awesome. It’s been completely neutered by paid parking. It’s actually sad on my walk from the Ag lot to our tailgate. This year they’re setting up the corporate tailgate nonsense right by us and I’m expecting a total shite fest.

I feel like my situation Saturday is pretty emblematic of how parking and traffic can impact attendance. My kid has a soccer tournament in Lafayette, last game will end around 3:30 pm. Now if I had any confidence I could drive in and find a place to park reasonably close to the stadium that wouldn't take 2 hours to get home, I'd roll into campus around 4:30, grab something to eat and watch the game. There would be concession money made off of me, and possibly a sale or 2 at the bookstore. Instead, I know all of the free parking will be gone, and I'm not about to pay money to park in a lot on the opposite side of campus from where I want to be after the game. So I'll just drive on by, head home, and watch the game from the couch. I don't know why they make it so hard to be a fan sometimes.

Parking situation is a shame, especially considering the halftime exodus. frick anyone that goes to campus and doesn’t enter stadium. Lots are no longer free because there are too many campus selfie opportunities to be had and too many douche bags that think it’s cool to watch the game outside TS under a tent.

Of course they started charging for parking when there's as many or more people outside the stadium than inside. These assholes don’t contribute much to a previously established tailgating scene, but do add to traffic both ways.

If you don’t like this, then GTFO my lawn.

Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

They (LSUAD) don't give a shite. It's all about the $$$$$$$.

That's why JA is so universally disliked and why so many want him to GTFO of Baton Rouge. GTFO Joe and take FKA with you...……...

I spent a lot of time tailgating in the 80's as a student and sadly those days seem to be gone. The experience was so much better than today. I remember when there were bands playing on the top of motorhomes or on platforms in lot 401. Also, motor homes used to be lined from outside the right field fence (old Alex Box) all the way down Nicholson and back over in front of the old golf course to the stadium. It was fantastic! Bring that back and you'll bring a better game day experience back for everyone.

90% of campus is reserved/pay parking. I knew it was a lot but seeing it all in one spot kind of shocked me I guess. Sheesh.

Welcome to the rest of the SEC bud.
We've had cheaper parking and cheaper tickets than most other similar SEC schools for quite some time now.
I've been to a good bit of SEC campuses, mostly 5-10 years ago, and i like to pride myself in finding decent free parking, and that was rather difficult at most schools.

My family, extended family and friends tailgated for so many years near the student union, I couldn't even begin to count. Our tailgating neighbors we knew for years. We didn't have to pay a penny then. But, one by one, our spaces were scooped up, our neighbors left and did not come back, and we simply gave it up. It was no longer a gathering of fans and family...it was an opportunity to rip us off after our ticket prices and TAF contribution increased. The additional fees to set up in our old place was no longer worth it.
We have not tailgated in over 5 years....Joe Alleva needs to go! I don't mind supporting Tiger football! I do mind having to pay hand over fist for every little item for the "game day experience!". Those who are younger will never know what it was like!
Joe needs to be shown the door

I saw this coming 10+ years ago and obtained an annual parking pass. Now, my parking pass is worth more than my tickets to most games on the resell market.
