Multiple people in this thread have said that it was not a fight and that it was an intoxicated LSU fan that fell and hit his head. Obviously they had no clue he was drugged and would be right 99% of the time watching someone stumble and fall at a football game.

I can assure nobody was lacing weed with super-fent. A bad batch of blow made the rounds in Oxford.

No thank goodness as I was just reading about that. It was Benzodiazepines. He only had that and a daily prescription he takes show up in his test at the hospital. Unfortunately he didn't wake up unitl several hours after the game so no idea what happened to the guy who gave him the beer or if he even hung around for remainder of game after halftime. He accepted the beer because he though the guy was with the fans/family sitting directly in front of them but now not sure if the guy was with them or not. His cousin was at the concession stand when he got up so when his cousin returned he thought my son had either gone to the bathroom or to get something to eat/drink himself but became more and more concerned when he never returned nor answered his phone or text messages.

Jesus, that’s a parent’s nightmare glad he was ok, and prayers to the families of the deceased children.
There is no worse thing for a parent than to bury a child. I will never forget my stoic grandmother losing it at my father’s funeral when I was 18. I couldn’t handle it.

Thank God he is ok. I was actually pretty worried about him because he was so out of it. The chin laceration was pretty bad, I'm sure that was a ton of stitches but I couldn't tell if he had busted the back of his head too or if there were other injuries because of all the blood and I didn't want to move him incase there was a neck injury. Drugs makes sense because he really did act completely sedated. Hopefully it was just an accident and there was no foul play.
Did he have his wallet or phone stolen?

How did they rule out a fight if the guy has no memory of what happened?

Thank God your son is ok. I was a bartender and bar owner in the 90s, and I always heard rumors but never saw iit.
Then in mid 90s my wife and my buddies went to Hard Rock in New Orleans to see a band one night and were on our first drink when my GF, (now my wife of 30 something years), suddenly collapsed of the bar stool and if I had not caught her she would have definitely hit her head. She never did a drug in her life not even weed. She was right in the middle of a sentence and her eyes just rolled back and she was out.
She was burning up hot to the touch and sweating when the EMTs got there, and heart was beating 200-300 bpm or some crazy shite. Then suddenly she went ghost white, was ice cold and no pulse. I will never forget the panic I saw in the EMTs eyes. We were taken to Tulane and she was ok in a few hours and walked out that night. The doctors suspected she was drugged but couldn’t really find anything, but other than the 5k I had to pay them we were good. I never complained about that because I really thought she was doing to die. I suspect to this day that one of my buddies was trying to drug his GF but got mixed up or something. He was a big coke head and one of the first fentyl deaths. (They said it was pneumonia.)

No everything was with him thank goodness as his cousin or his brother who were also at the game had no idea where he was and once again thank you so much for taking care of him, no way I could ever repay you you for looking after him. Yes he has a chin full of stitches and 10 or 11 staples in the back of his head plus a severe concussion. He has so many questions, if possible please email me your contact info/phone number to user name@yahoo.com as I really would like to personally thank you and if possible ask a few questions on his behalf as he has no idea where he fell or even how he got to the hospital.

At this point we can't rule out anything but I've been in enough scuffles to know how someone looks after a fight and he has no swelling to anywhere on his face, neck, chest or ribs. We think he fell and hit something chin first then he twisted and hit back of head on the cement as he went down. Has some other weird small bruises like on back of both his shoulders but nothing that looks like punches or kicks/stomps.
