It is highly unlikely that the B1G takes a non AAU school. The B1G is an extremely low percentage option.

It’s not a requirement for the B1G, but is preferred. Nebraska lost their AAU status. Also, LSU is working towards AAU membership. I would wager that the B1G would likely welcome LSU under the circumstances and back channel communications may have already been engaged.

I was unaware of this, I did think that the new SPACEX facility will provide opportunities for LSU engineering and science research moving forward.

Rousse has mentioned it recently. Now, we aren’t near membership currently, but it is something that is in LSUs plans for the future.
