LSU Club Baseball

Won the series this morning against Alabama in Tusk-are-losers. My grandson had a save in the first game yesterday and got the win in 4 inning relief just now. Tied it in our last bat and won it in the 2nd extra inning

Why do we have a club baseball team when we have a real baseball team? Makes sense for sports like Rugby, hockey, and lacrosse since there is no actual team

Probably because there are enough students who want to play baseball but aren’t good enough to make the real team.

Club sports are what all college athletics used to be years ago. When students from a school form a team to play students from another school.

I was a coach for lsu in the mid 60 to early 70. I am happy tp see more students interested inplayiomng ba;;. If I can assist in any way. I wopuld be more than happy to do so.

Because not everyone who grows up loving baseball and goes to LSU is named Crews or Skenes.
I think it’s awesome we have club baseball team and happy to hear about their success.

I was thinking more like former HS players that are happy they don’t have to hang up the cleats and get to keep playing the game they love. But you do you.
