There are about 30 various club teams at LSU sponsored by the Recreation Dept. A little more than half are co-ed(including quidditch). The baseball team has a double header against UCF at 3:00 Sat. at Port Allen High School

personally I know about a 50 ball players that would fold you in half. And a majority are Dads now.

Cool. Those club guys have a ton of fun. Do they play sanctioned games against JUCO’s? My son played club at Western Michigan and had a full schedule vs other D1 Club teams and JUCO’s.

Are they available tomorrow and Monday at The Box? I think LSU club baseball would offer up stiffer competition the next two nights.

Nah. I’d just tell them that their socks are mismatched or trigger some other weird superstition and they’d be toast.
Look…I actually like baseball and actually was a club level guy myself at LSU. But with all love for baseball, even baseball players have to admit they they are weird at every level. Fun game to watch, but weird people. And to suggest that baseball players are going to “fold” me in half? Nobody…and I mean nobody…ever said “I picked on the wrong guy…turned out he was a former baseball player.”
But club level in a sport that exists as a varsity sport is…well…lame.
What’s next…a thread about club band?
