Alabama with a big victory over #1 Gonzaga last night in Seattle. Ole Miss takes down #18 Memphis.
As the season progresses it is starting to look like the SEC may well be the best league in college basketball.

Gonzaga is overrated as frick and Memphis is too young to be a legitimate contender.

Alabama did look good. Their 3 guard trio of Quinnerly, Shackleford, and Davidson are going to be a difficult match up for LSU.

I agree, but Pinson/Murray/Gaines is as good a defensive guard lineup we’ve ever had. So I think if they go small, so do we. Not to mention Wilkinson

Gonzaga is #3. They have had some rare struggles in the last 3 games. They lost to Duke (understandable), they only beat Tarleton State (who I have never heard of in my life) by just 9 points, and then Bama handled them pretty easily. Gonzaga did handle UCLA easily before this stretch and beat Texas by 10+ though. Their coach isn't afraid to schedule tough games.

Day's will end the year this year about where he finished last year and about where he is right now - a 40% 3 pt. shooter. I think he's forced some things after a hot start and has settled into his mean - he'll be fine.
Pinson and Gaines need to take a cue from Mwani - only shoot open 3's catch and shoot. Mwani knows his limitations and is shooting 40% from 3 because that's the only kind he takes. Gaines and Pinson need to follow suit. Cut out the step back and dribble 3's, they can't make those.
I think Murray will prove to be a good 3-pt shooter over time this year.
I think Eason is actually a decent shooter from 3 and will end the season as a 35% 3-pt shooter which I can live with .
Fudge and Reid probably don't need to be shooting any IMHO.

They miss a ton of good looks. There aren’t a ton of bad shot 3’s. They just really can’t shoot. The bad shots by guys that can’t shoot are definitely amplified, though.
