For years he's been railing on the apathy of LSU basketball fans and when we finally show some passion it's not the right kind of passion for him.
Can't have it both ways Bingo Bango. Go back to the only thing you do well.....name dropping. The criticism is largely IMHO earned in this case. And being pissed off....it's largely justified in this case.

I talked to the BRCC women's basketball coach a couple of days ago and she's been around Johnny a lot in the past. She even said the guys a hell of a recruiter, but not an X and Os guy.
He's done a great job bringing in the talent the last couple of years, he just can't get it done on the court.

This really is kind of true. Brando might have said we have zero credibility, but did he say we were wrong about how we feel about Johnny Jones? I really like Jones as a person and feel there are definitely worse people that could have the job (coaches that can't even recruit). But you can't deny the facts. The media has been dogging Johnny Jones for a while now, so I guess nobody has credibility but Tim Brando.
LSU fans can be pissy and we don't have great basketball fans like we once did, but LSU fans also haven't had a very exciting product. I think we've made it past the 1st round of the NCAA tournament twice in the last 25 years.

Said on Paul Finebaum's Show in regards to Johnny Jones and overall state of the program. Used the John Brady year and only having 2 sellouts during the season that the team went to the Final Four. Stated that LSU fans just want to be "pissed off"
