That seems odd if they are chartered flights

They weren't. At least according to the broadcast last night. That's Ronnie Rantz info, so you choose if you want to trust it.

I didn’t hear that, I’m just going off of this thread. Idk what they did, I was just saying it seemed weird, if true.

Wonder if they stay in two separate hotels as well since Arlington and Frisco are quite away from each other.

Take the damn bus. They are good enough for the Minor Leagues.

Exactly, the cost difference was probably huge flying folks on 3 different flights vs. chartering.

Yeah, there is no comparing chartered GA jets with commercial. It might cost $1500 bucks each for first class commercial, whereas it could be $10,000 each for GA.

Funny seeing this thread. I saw JJ posted up at the PJs in BTR this morning. He was watching film and taking notes, looked like he was watching a lanky lefty. Couldn’t tell what school, I’m assuming DBU.

I said good luck this weekend Coach, he replied with a thanks we appreciate it and he put his head back down into the film.

They were originally supposed to take a charter flight but leave on Monday. When the Nicholls game for rescheduled they had to change the travel plans to commercial flights.

There is more dumbness in this thread than I thought possible.

It's 450 miles from Baton Rouge to Arlington. JJ doesn't want his team sitting on a bus all day with four meaningful games to play this week.

Wednesday's game against Dallas Baptist will be as tough a midweek opponent as we'll see all season. DBU prides itself on knocking off D1 teams in these random midweek matchups. They beat TCU at TCU a few years ago in an NCAA regional. Their coach has turned down numerous D1 coaching overtures. Plus, they are familiar with playing in Globe Life Field.
