LSU Baseball Pros Update - All Star Break Edition (CJJ Era)

2025 MLB Draft:
Kade Anderson - 1st Round - Mariners - AA - 1.36 ERA through 14 starts, will move up the org quickly at this rate & just participated in the futures game.
Chase Shores - 2nd Round - Angels - A+ - Posting similar numbers to last year at LSU, electric stuff but just needs tuned up a bit.
Anthony Eyanson - 3rd Round - Red Sox - AA - Already promoted from A+ to AA, has a combined 1.78 ERA over 8 starts in AA. Looking like a steal in the 3rd & also participated in the futures game.
Ethan Frey - 3rd Round - Astros - A+ - Promoted to A+ after hitting over .300 last year at A. Looking very good, contact numbers are still there and power numbers are staying steady in the transition to the minors as well.
Daniel Dickinson - 6th Round - Brewers - A+ - Power numbers are finally starting to pop through after a slow start coming off of surgery after last year. Also posting 32 stolen bases this year at A+.
Jared Jones - 8th Round - Pirates - A+ - Mashing the ball right now in A+ ball, hitting .324 with 10 bear bombs. Happy for him and hope he keeps it up.
Jacob Mayers - 9th Round - Red Sox - A - Throwing up a 3.74 ERA at the moment through 14 appearances but needs to work on the walks still. 60K/38BB through 43.1 Innings thus far. He can be a legit arm if the command comes, and it looks to be trending. Also getting a few outings in as a starter is interesting.
Kade Woods - 10th Round - Braves - A - After putting up 6 good outings at the end of last season, he has posted a 7.88 ERA through the midway point of this year. Hoping he can come back around.
Conner Ware - 15th Round - Mets - A - Trending in the right direction, ERA has dipped down to 4.77 after starting the year a little higher. Does seem to be getting put out there as a starter quite a bit, curious to see how he develops.
Luis Hernandez - UDFA - Twins - A+ - Struggling with the bat at the moment but has proven to be a very solid defensive catcher thus far.
Michael Braswell - UDFA - Royals - RK - Getting back into the flow of things as a pitcher for the Royals, 6.00 ERA through 16 outings in rookie ball, 33/4 SO to walk ratio is insane, he is having no problem with command at all. Rooting for Brazzy!
2024 MLB Draft:
Tommy White - 2nd Round - Athletics - MLB - Just got the call up after raking in AA & AAA this year. Posted a combined .302 BA, 10 Bombs, & 67 RBI's this year so far. Can't wait to see Tommy go oppo in Vegas.
Luke Holman - 2nd Round - Reds - A - Been battling injuries ever since he left. Looked good in two outings at A ball last year and is now back on the 60 Day IL. Hopefully can get healthy because he is a crafty pitcher when he's full speed.
Gage Jump - 2nd Round - Athletics - MLB - Has a 3.51 ERA through 9 starts in the big, 48K/15BB on the year, looking really good so far and now has Tommy back in the clubhouse with him.
Thatcher Hurd - 3rd Round - Yankees - A - Finally back on the mound after rehabbing a TJ surgery. Glad to see him back in action, pitched great in RK ball this year and in his 7 starts in A ball. Hopefully he can get healthy and get some confidence back on the mound.
Griffin Herring - 6th Round - Rockies (Traded from Yankees) - AA - Looking really good to start his pro career. Dominated A & A+ ball last year and was included as a prospect in the Ryan McMahon trade last year. Struggling at AA now for the rockies. Hopefully keeps progressing like he has been!
Fidel Ulloa - 7th Round - Rockies - AA - Now teammates with Griffin Herring, also dominated RK, A, & A+ ball and now showing to be one of the best arms for the Rockies at the AA level. 2.51 ERA through 32.1 innings. Looks legit and will move up soon if it continues.
Nate Ackenhausen - 10th Round - Royals - AA - On the 60 Day IL right now and hopefully coming back soon and keeping up what he was doing last year. In 2025, got promoted from A+ to AA, continued to pitch well and ended the season with 5 appearances in AAA. Very Quick career jump for a guy like Ackenhausen but up a 3.00 ERA in AAA last year. Hopefully gets health and keeps progressing.
Christian Little - 11th Round - Mariners - A+ - Pitching lights out right now to start the 26 season, holding a 1.89 ERA over 25 outings and 33.1 innings. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in AA soon at this rate.
Justin Loer - 13th Round - Rockies - A+ - Putting up similar numbers to his season at LSU through 2 years in the minors. Currently posting a 4.40 ERA at A+.
Javen Coleman - UDFA - Blue Jays - AA - Pitched really well at the A & A+ level last season, currently posting a 3.04 ERA with a 36K/6BB ratio through 17 outings & 23.2 innings at AA. Hope J Cole can keep rocking.
Hayden Travinski - Signed with the Astros and played a little bit of Rookie ball. Looks to be out of baseball. Always a national Champ and owner of one of the most violent swings I've ever seen.

2023 MLB Draft:
Paul Skenes - MLB - Pirates - Everyone knows his pitching speaks for itself, he is a superstar. Rookie of the Year, Cy Young, 3 time all star. Velo is dipping right now to try and fend off injuries, I expect him to work on some stuff in the offseason and see himback to dominate.
Dylan Crews - MLB - Nationals - Struggled in the MLB the last couple years going through some swing issues. After getting back to his old swing, he is back to hitting for contact and driving the ball out naturally. Glad to see Dylan back in the bigs and is currently hitting .270 on the year.
Ty Floyd - A+ - Reds - Riddled with injuries since his time in college. He only has 16 outing in the minors total from 24-26 but has posted a 3.48 ERA & 59K/24BB. Need to keep him healthy and Ty will progress quickly.
Grant Taylor - MLB - White Sox - Insane to me that the 2023 LSU team did what they did with a guy like this out for the season. Grant dominated the minors and has proven to be a top option in the pen for the Sox and is currently posting a 2.79 through 48.1 innings this year.
Tre' Morgan - AAA - Rays - Dealing with some injuries this year, when Tre' has been healthy, he has played amazing and I fully expect him to get to the league within the next year when he gets back to playing daily.
Gavin Dugas - Recently released from the Nats after topping out at A+. Instagram Bio says "Former Ballplayer". Hate to see it but Dugas is done with baseball. National Champ forever though!
Garrett Edwards - AA - Rays - Has developed into a starter at the pro level. Looked great at A+ last season and currently posting a 4.60 at AA this year. Hoping to see him take that next step.
Blake Money - AA - Orioles - Looked really good at A+ & AA last year. Got placed on the full season injury list this year. Hoping he bounces back and can get back on the mound as soon as possible.
Brayden Jobert - Topped out at A+ ball for the Cards and got released going into this season. National Champ forever and personally my favorite swing. Don't get me wrong, there are dudes that hit a lot better than Jobert at LSU but he had the smoothest lefty swing when he hit pull side bombs.
Riley Cooper - A+ - Orioles - Pitched at AA last year, this season spent time at A, A+, & AAA for a couple outings. Currently injured and hopefully gets back to form, has gotten hit pretty hard this year.
Jordan Thompson - Recently released by the Dodgers, topped out at A+ ball. Never got that bat going in the minors. National Champion forever!
Bryce Collins - Signed with the White Sox and pitched a couple of seasons. Seemingly is out of baseball from what I've seen. National Champion forever.

Cade Doughty - AA - Blue Jays - Another one that hasn't quite performed the way I expected him to. Hitting has slumped and is currently in his third season at the AA level. Hopefully he can get hot and move up a little.
Eric Reyzelman - AAA - Yankees - Pitched really well at AA but currently getting hit hard at AAA. Just came off of injured list, hopefully can stack some good outings and get this thing turned around!
Paul Gervase - AAA - Dodgers - Really hasn't gotten a fair shake with the Dodgers, he has pitched well enough at AAA & the MLB to be an MLB arm, but the dodgers are stacked and have no room for guys. He would be a good bullpen option for 90% of MLB teams. Even posting a 2.35 ERA through 4 outings in the MLB this season.
Crazy to see how much talent has funneled through in such a short amount of time & the list is growing. Sad to see some of these guys hang up the cleats too.

32 steals for Dickinson, I really wish Jay would try and steal more
seattle is going to a six man rotation after all star break, unfortunately they don't have room for Anderson right now because he should be up by the end of the year on most teams
sucks for Gervase, any other team and he's on the big league roster

I was a little worried about Little still only being in high A ball but forget that he only turned 22 last week.

Played 40 something games for the Brockton Rox in the Frontier League this season before being put on the IL last week.

Will always be one of my favorite Tigers. Glad he got his shot even if it was short lived. His streak at the end of '23 will always be one of the best stories. When he was on it was almost impossible to stop our offense.

For 3 weeks, he was the best hitter on that team including Crews. It was insane!

He's hitting .211 though his OBP is .270

He was average at best. Always found it wild he was drafted as high as he was.

Never thought he was that good at LSU, tbh. He was average at best. Always found it wild he was drafted as high as he was.
His play didn't jump out to me as far as the eye test, but the guy could flat out hit. .370 is .370. Outside of Crews, it's the best BA I can remember. 15 HRs to go with it isn't bad, either.
