I am just waiting for Ell to shite all over Adam’s preview threads. Does it every year

Our pitching is very stacked. If Gilbert returns to form, and Beck pitches like he did last season, look out. I imagine PM will have Gilbert out in the first game. If you have someone with the experience of Gilbert, with his stuff, it’s a great asset to lean on in the pen.

I just can’t figure out Gilbert’s role in this rotation if he’s back to form. I guess he’d be our stopper. When shite goes sideways he’s the one to come in for an inning or 2 and shut them down.
It’s a good problem to have, trying to figure out a place for an arm like gilbert

You disagree with math?
The math from college? Where’s it at? Most hitters in the majors are all damn good hitters and the difference between them is minimal regarding a lineup sequence

I’m excited to see what the starting pitching staff does.

Cool thread, same info was posted 3 days ago. Cant wait for your always money prediction thread. How many homeruns did your program put out for duplantis last year? 7?

The salty arse baseball gang is back together. My favorite time of the year

The only time Louisiana weather can be predicted. I don't know if it'll be 30 or 75 next week, but I guarantee you it will be windy and in the 40s for opening weekend.
Oh, and it's going to rain during our regional and super this season.

Ell, did tad steal your prom date or something?
He is just some prick that has waited his whole life to pretend to be smarter than everyone on an anon message board. He chose me because I’m an easy target and I don’t ever respond to him cause he’s an a-hole that spends more time trying to take people down than actually talk about sports.
It doesn’t bother me and I’m only responding because I made a mistake and fixed it. Saw it in TD front page this morning actually and didn’t realize it was a week ago

Not sure, that’s why they are called predictions and not actual stats. It’s an opinion and I’ve been right as much as wrong with my stat predictions over the years, go look it up if you don’t believe me.
I guess I’ll stop posting my opinions in a message board about LSU sports so that I don’t offend anon people. Lol

My only complaint about this motley crew aligning again is that there is not a single rally babe or rally crawfish to be had. It is preconference so there is time to right the ship.
Geaux Tigers!!!

I have a feeling this team will seriously disappoint. Everyone else is getting g giddy like kids at Christmas, I just don’t see it

He swings and misses too much for my liking to put him at 2. Watson is also a terrible baserunner and I don’t like my 2 hole giving up outs on the basepaths before my 3-4-5 guys are batting. Smith is perfect at 2. Can get on himself, has good pop, can bunt, and can handle the bat very well for those hit and runs Maineiri loves to do.
He does swing and miss too much, but he's not a terrible baserunner. He was 14-18 in stolen bases, and I believe a couple of those caught stealing's were actually pickoffs.
Duplantis is the one who needs to work on his base running. For all the speed he has, his SB percentage hasn't been too great. He was 19-27 last year.
Mark Laird had the same problem his first two years here, before he figured it out in his junior year. Duplantis is now a senior, so I sure hope we'll see better jumps out of him. Otherwise, he doesn't need to run. That lineup, if it lives up to it's potential, will be a juggernaut. No real reason for anyone to run, unless there is a catcher who is struggling. Always take advantage of those guys.
