Hell LSU baseball hasn't visited Florida in over three years suck it up fella.

You don’t seriously think Florida and Texas are in the same boat regarding LSU fans/alumni do you?

Going years without playing in the state of Florida is no big deal at all.

And going to Norman for a LSU game is not really that exciting.

Well yeah same for college station but if it’s close enough for a day trip, I’d do it. You can do it from DFW

I can't stand A&M or it's fans, the only way I would go there is if it was a super regional.

Yeah I agree. They’re pretty bad. Worse than UT fans.

OP makes a good point. Anytime we don’t have an SEC game in Texas we should play a preseason invitational. Some years we do too much in Texas, this year nothing.

LSU doesn’t need to go to Texas for recruiting purposes. The name LSU baseball recruits itself. Yeah it’s nice for the team to play in Texas but it’s time to get some other places. Like going to Jacksonville. LSU recruits all over the US.

We played there 3 different weekends last year. We can take a break for a year.

That Frisco tournament was crap for people that streamed it. D1 baseball burned that bridge

Jay picked a tournament in Jacksonville to give the players a weekend in the eastern time zone to prepare for SEC road trips to places like Tennessee. Worrying about where they play is worrying about winning.

Did he really say that? It’s only an hour difference, and our games are at 2pm, 12pm and 11 am. That ain’t preparing anyone for anything

It’s not a big deal to not play a regular season game in Texas either

It’s not a big deal but let’s not pretend like LSU baseball playing in Florida is similar to them playing in Texas.

It’s just nice for us Texas people to be able to easily go to a LSU baseball game without hopping on a plane and making an entire weekend out of it.

How about the people of Texas get off their lazy asses and come support LSU in its hometown/state?

How about we already do that too unlike a lot of my friends in BR that never go to an away game?

Always nice to drive less than the usual 10 hour round trip to see The Tigers.

It's about time Texass comes to the Box and Death Valley!
Way way overdue.
