First time for everything....I guess.

Hope we can somehow scratch out a win today...but the bullpen is depleted.

We are in the season of breaking record lows so we might as well pile on.

Need to look up Smokes win/lost record. Even PM's worst team was never this bad.

8 SEC losses in a row is a program record. So we already have that going for us. But some fans are having fun with that so yay!!!1!

Because you give up 3 runs on 6 pitches doesn't make you depleted, it just means you sucked

Making new program lows is not a good way to stay employed at places like LSU. That’s what.

You have to go back 45 years to pre-Skip to find a LSU team this bad. That was the last time they went .500 or worse and they’re well on our way to that unless they win series vs USC which isn’t a gimme anymore

The season has been lost for a couple weeks and jay isnt getting fired anytime soon. So whether they win 9 or 12 conference games, what does it really matter

This post shares the sentiment, but is factually wrong. Not sure if I misinterpreting the meaning, but there have been many season where LSU has finished .500 or worse in the SEC.

ETA: maybe you mean overall record and not just conference record.

Wild

At Arizona did he miss the post season 3 yrs in a row? 18/19/20(covid but his roster wasnt too good)

If he does this here he wont be here.

Something tells me he doesnt want to be here anymore. Something happened from last fall till the season started.

What are you suggesting here? To fire Jay Johnson?

Get real. I truly cannot believe some of the takes.

Of course some are hinting at it. They imply he got lucky with 2 years of great players.

This is a lower IQ fan base. It isn't surprising that they are ruled by emotions in the moment.

We’ve been very clear JJ gets his mulligan though this performance is historically bad.

It’s a legit concern that elite coaches never slip this bad in their down seasons.

If we miss the tournament next season (top 64), yes it’s time to move on from JJ. He will be coaching for his job next year the seat is getting warm.

This has been the worst academic year for LSU men’s sports I can ever remember having. We’ve spent more money than ever before and have the absolute worst results.

This season is frustrating. There's 3 series LSU could've easily won but didn't.
