Not that it matters, but you sound like you are taking the criticism personally. Perhaps related?

I don't believe anyone hates any player. That was quite a drop off in production from them lately. I will say one thing I noticed.. ever since the time where Beau got taken out the game (either for lack of hustle on a play or injury.. whatever it was and it was early on in the game) and Breaux went on to have like 3 hits in the game or something similar.. it seemed like Beau never was the same caliber player since.. Even though he returned right back to the lineup.. Baseball can be so strange at times.. but he really never was the same since..

The Jordan brothers have reached their ceiling and are not cut out as SEC caliber starters IMO. I don't think they'll be sent walking, but I think someone else will take their starting spots next year.

NCAA athletics has become a profession and the education of athletes has not been the focus for a long time. Once a school awards a scholarship it should not be permitted to withdraw it. Its really shameful that these young men are treated this way. If a kid's not producing then coach him up. There's a serious disconnect between the purpose of college and what happens to athletes. This has to change.

I've said it once, I'll say it again...I'm just not a fan of the Jordan twins. I agree with the fact that they have hit their ceiling...even if they only just finished their sophomore year. They're not fast. They do have power. But with everyone else on the team and the incoming freshmen, where do the Jordan twins actually fit in?

Trust me on the "Poche leaning towards staying" info. Info came from girlfriends family. Would take a "blown away by the offer" to get him to sign and that won't happen.
This info was as of Friday.

Academic scholarships are pulled if the student doesn't maintain the required GPA.

I'm cautiously optimistic. He was drafted by one of the teams with the largest draft pools and they drafted 4 seniors in their top 10 round picks. They have a capability of making a "blow you away offer." From here til July it's just waiting to see if they decide to make that offer to Poche or someone else.

Would not be shocked if Norman leaves. He came here with "Starter" aspirations but that didnt work out and his new role turned into a mop-up duty/situational guy to throw one inning or to a couple batters.

not disagreeing completely, but whoever thinks PM is cutting either one of them is insane.

His grandfather is the longest tenured professor at LSU....something like 52 years. He has family ties to LSU and Baton Rouge.

Some of you dudes are serious assholes. I don't want a whole team of guys with their skill set...but c'mon. They don't suck. They hustle, they play hard, they love LSU and they did some good things this year. They have a future here in some capacity.

Since they got here I looked at the Jordans as 4 year guys that would probably contribute in their last two years. They got regular time a little earlier than I expected. I don't think they suck, I don't think they're going anywhere, and I think they are going to be valuable assets to the team over the next two years.

I've commented on this before, MLB, is a pipe dream for most D1 players. Professional sports leagues sell the dream of declaring early to cash in for $$$. But reality in baseball is less than 1% of drafted players will ever see a MLB roster. Not too many Bregmans out there. I say stay in school-- hone your game and enjoy your senior season. Love the Jordan's, but they are going to be pushed next year-- too much talent coming in.

I wouldn't say that they suck. They have average speed (still not sure how Beau had 37 SBs his senior year), below average arms and just don't seem to have the instincts to play OF in college baseball. They were basically in the lineup for their bats which became essentially non-existent the last month of the season when they were needed the most.

The high school umpires were probably afraid to call him out.....

You're probably an older wiser guy. For a youngster starting on a team like LSU, no matter these statistics, they have a shot at the bigs in their mind.
