OK LSU Baws,

Need some help. Headed back to the boot and BR for a family wedding the second weekend in March, when LSU hosts Samford.

Sunday afternoon is open for us and the wife (no pics) and I as well as our son (his first LSU game) would like to catch the game.

Tried getting tickets through lsusports.net, but all they offer is Standing Room Only in the grandstand.

I know there's lot's of hype this year but are non-conference Sunday afternoon games already sold out??

What's the inside secret or workaround??

Yeah Stubhub is a good way to go. I got a couple really good tickets for this Sunday's game for pretty cheap.

There are tickets available on stubhub and seatgeek right now for that game. Didn't see any grandstand though.

There are still fees, they just include them in the final price.

That is not a bug series.

At worst you could buy a ticket at the ticket window to get in and there will be a ton of empty seats.

Everything is wide open except for the club seating and the suites.

Several guys around the stadium that always have tickets at much better prices than StubHub. They have been around for years and won't sell you a fake. Max posts up near Gourrier Ave between Bull Pen lot and Legacy Plaza. ALways has a bunch with good variety. Lionel & Raymond(I think that's his name) are normally in the back lot but sometimes are riding their bikes up toward Nicholson and have always come through when I needed extras also. Arrive early and see one of these guys and you should get good tickets for a reasonable price.

So you need three tickets?

Walk around the stadium gates like this:

If your son is adorable or your wife is hot, you may even get free tickets handed to you.

ETA: For a Sunday afternoon game vs Samford, refuse to pay more than $10 a ticket. The closer it is to game time, the better for you. Those tickets are worthless to scalpers after the crowd gets in the game.
