The good news is, Texas won't have much film on our new offense bc we won't need to show much vs. Ga Southern.

The bad news is, LSU will still be learning the new offense vs. UT....

Herman's teams over the years tend to play like crazy when they are underdogs, and underachieve vs. lesser talent.

It will be very interesting.

Texas linebacker crew will not be a weakness. We will also fill the gaps with safety 5* BJ Foster and safety 5* Damarvion Overshown, both are true headhunters. Jamison and Green will be on the corners, both are elite in my opinion, but lack experience. This is my only concern heading into the season. I also laugh at the notion of our D-line being soft or a weakness. Coburn and Ojomo are monsters on the inside and Roach and Graham will be on the wings.

Ok so your defense is absolutely loaded from top to bottom, with no weaknesses at all? Got it. I don’t want to hear all your BS overused coach’s cliches about youth and experience when we hang 35 on you

Thanks hitman for letting us know about the, "not on film yet", 3rd down package, now I can email it to Aranda so he will have a package for it especially.

Not serious, but I may be if I had his email. Couldnt hurt to just send him the article .lol.

If it's not on film after they play tech or from last year then he won't know about it unless they have analysts scouring the internet for this kind of thing.

Started out as a joke but the more I write, the more I think it seriously wouldn't be a bad idea lol..... May still be a joke though lol

Me to myself :Not sure if serious.

The only thing I can say is I saw Jordan Whittington in that HS title game last year. Dude was a man child who basically carried his team every single snap. He will be a good one, but not good enough in his second college game.

Jones, a Senior safety, has had 1 int in 3 seasons of play. I expect him to get tested early and often by Burrow and his receivers.

Whittington is a freak athlete and should be a great RB for Texas.

Jordan Whittington...because of his ridiculous size as a freshman

He is 6'1, 204 and runs a 4.68. He will be coming off his first game against LA Tech. SEC defenses are nothing like what Tejas sees all year long.

Also, they were odd last year. They beat some decent teams and lost to some scrubs. I think we have them beat in experience and speed.

You put some effort into this and for that, I upvote you.

Ehlinger = Tebow. Can’t pass well but needs to be gang tackled and hit low.

The LSU "D" will be the BEST "D" anyone on the horns offense has ever gone up against.

What position groups do you see ut having and advantage over LSU's group?

A win over Texas could give LSU a cushion to drop a sec game and beat Bama and still win sec

Not sure if I’m misunderstanding this post but win or lose, the result of the Texas game does not affect our chances of winning the SEC..

Think you did a pretty solid job overall here. I’d include BJ Foster who will start at the nickel position. Played pretty dang solid as a true freshman last season.

Hager was technically a DE, and was garbage IMO. Think it’s addition by subtraction there.

Also, offensively technically Kerstetter and Okafor have started games before but they will be replacing Cosmi (sliding to LT) and another Senior.

Think you’re vastly underrating the rest of the WR core. They’ve recruited some studs at that position the last few years.

I know about their talent at receiver, but it is more about LSU’s skill at the DB position. IMO Collin Johnson could very well get his, but the rest of the receivers are not good enough to consistently get open against our DB’s. If their scheme breaks down ours, then the alsolutely could have success.

This is a something I could be being biased about but I really like our guys.

But may become the tie-breaker for a playoff spot.

And will be big for recruiting in Texas.
