Alum 
There are high school kids who come to LSU for a week in the summer for 4-H Short Course who are more deserving of that title. They put in more academic work for sure.

It has always been that. Though mistaking the term Alum to mean a graduate is fairly common. I made the same mistake for years until someone took the time to correct me.

If he didn’t want to be “forced” to go to college, he could have went overseas a for a year. He CHOSE to come to LSU, then talked about how he didn’t go to class, was offered cars, watched, etc WHILE IN SCHOOL.

Students that went to LSU for one semester and drop out to be an oil baw do not get LSU alumni stickers on the back of their trucks near the nuts.
LSU gave us alumni stickers in our packet when we graduated.
