Field dimension comparison LSU and Texas.
Alex Box (LSU)
Foul Lines 330
Power Alleys 365
Center 405
Height of Fence 10
Batter's Eye 30
Surface Grass
Elevation 20 feet
UFCU Disch–Falk Field (Texas)
Left field 340
Center field 400
Right field 325
Power Alleys 370-365
Height of Fence 10 except 20 in center field I think
Surface FieldTurf
Elevation 490 feet
It appears the batter's eye at Texas is either is 28 feet and part of the centerfield fence but I believe if the ball strikes the batter's eye above the fence line it is considered a home run. And I think the fence there is 20 feet rather than 10 like the rest of the field. Right field is incredibly short.
On another note, Kade Anderson is currently 5th in the NCAA in strikeouts.
1 Liam Doyle Tennessee 6 appearances, 31.0 IP, 62 Ks
2 Trey Beard Fla. Atlantic 5 appearances, 27.0 IP, 52 Ks
- Joey Volini Florida St. 6 appearances, 36.1 IP, 52 Ks
4 Logan Lunceford Wake Forest 5 appearances, 27.0 IP, 50 Ks
5 Kade Anderson LSU 5 appearances, 28.0 IP, 48 Ks
