Brother LSU’s second best offensive player shoots like 20% on wide open looks and we are the worst finishing team at the rim in the league.
Mizzou has shot 45 of like 90 their last 3 games from threes. Our players aren’t good enough to do that and theirs are. Coaching isn’t going to make up the talent deficit we face night in and night out. Players have to make plays.
There can be two truths here. MM missed on his team, and the players are it doesn’t have to be extremes

Which is part of the problem, he was never deserving of that. Streaky in HS, not that great on the circuits, and hasn’t proven to be at Illinois or LSU.

Juice Hill is the worst point guard I’ve ever seen at getting back on D. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. McMahon not caring about it maybe even worse.

There are 6 new coaches in the SEC this year. ALL of them had to significantly rebuild rosters. Yet only LSU and South Carolina are completely uncompetitive.
You do realize almost every player in this Missouri team is a mid-major transfer, right? I guess someone didn’t tell Dennis Gates (MU coach) he was supposed to be horrible in year one.
This is an extreme. McMahon is on pace to have the worst conference season at LSU…EVER. I’d say that is pretty damn extreme
