That sequence to open the half where we give up another rebound and lose a chance to get the lead was a gut punch

Yeah, I was really hoping Reed and Phillips would be further along than they are but I guess that’s unrealistic.

Just not playing well enough to beat a good team playing on their home court.

Good news is that even down 10, LSU seems to be passing the "eye test". If they play this tough all year, they're making the tourney.
