I recognize the reason they made the move, but I'm not sure if I agree with it.
I often hate the idea of taking out one of your best bats with more than 2 innings left. Was this in the 7th after we batted? Maybe not too bad of a decision then.
I also don't even know how good of a defensive player Dugas is.

I can agree with that to an extent but it’s not the end all be all and I honestly don’t think many guys who aren’t team first exist at this level.
