Idk if he needs to go to the bench, but you need to have Dickinson behind Curiel to protect him at this point and Bear needs to be in the 8 or 9 spot.

after the first foul off, Jones didn't even come close to hitting 78 mph breaking ball right down the fricking middle in the same spot both times

I agree Gavin. I have always been a big fan of Jones, but at this point the interest of the team is such that he has to sit down.

I usually tell anyone talking about benching Jones they are stupid because you don’t mess with the defense in the postseason. But with the way this game is going against a team you can likely get away with it against, it’s probably time to PH Jones for Beck and hope he can man 1st.

Unfortunately jones is one of those coaches pets type that they’ll never mess with in the line up despite the awful numbers
