This “comeback” makes no sense.

Try again.

4th and 1 and punting is when the game was lost. This is 1000% on Lane.

Agreed 1000% LSU deserves a freaking refund!!

So we go for it and don’t make it. Then what? They get the ball on the 40 with a chance to go win the game. Punting the football was the right call unfortunately. Our defense lost this game.

LSU really needs to try and leave the SEC, it’s been time. Invest in the education of the school and try and join the B1G

What, we got rid of Miles,

We got rid of Miles because his style of football was getting stale, and it was beginning to show in his W-L record.

We got rid of Orgeron because he was running a sloppy organization, hired bad coordinators, and had the first non-winning season in over 2 decades.

We fired Kelly because he completely lost the team and he was phoning it in.

I had little to do with specific calls and more to do with falling behind in methodology or poorly (or not) doing the things off the field a head coach is supposed to do.

No. Our schedule is too weak to get in with 3. Unless Chaos happens and everyone has 2-3 losses.

They beat like 3 top 10/15 teams and still got left out.

We have 0 good wins 6 games in.

Maybe. Point is, playing to not lose, and doing exactly that, is what got Kiffin here in the first place. Might as well of just kept Miles making dumb calls.

The better play calling would have been on 2nd down, or 3rd down. But even on 4th down, to walk up to the line and pretend, again, and again, to trick the defense in to offsides, is poor play calling. There was ZERO chance of that happening after they watched LSU do that several times already this season. That BS doesn't work if you do it every time.

Baker’s defense is not very good where a 2pt play starts.

Punt is the safe call but not on the road near the end of a close game where your offense is supposedly your strength.

We only have 2 losses so far, so there’s still chance. Once we lose again, all hope is gone.

Looking back at the 2pt play. They had trips to the right, we had each reciever man to man with cooley over the top of those along the back of the endzone. Whats the point of that? It would be such a short quick throw that cooley wouldnt be able to react to more than one receiver. Seems he would have been better served somewhere else, like the middle of the field.

That may have been the official position, but Kelly was fired after DUMB loss to Texas A&M.

Orgeron "parted ways" after the loss to Kentucky.

Miles was fired after the loss to Auburn.

You don't get fired in the middle of a season, after a loss, because your style has changed. You get fired because of making one too many mistakes, one too many times.
