They look great when Nuss takes what’s given. He keeps throwing these low % throws and ending drives. Idk if it’s the play call or him but we were picking them apart the first couple drives medium to short yardage

I’m just as frustrated as the next guy for not trying to score at the end of the half. But, the offense was obviously out of sync the last few drives. 50/50 chance of fricking up there. Go into half and regroup. Clean up the mistakes and come out and kick arse.

We’ve run PA or RPO slants for TDs in the red zone in 4 different games. Twice vs South Carolina. Once last week. It will be there eventually.
The pass that was called back for OPI was a great call. It just has to be executed properly. The throw to Taylor has to be behind the LOS or the WRs can’t engage until the throw.

That was an easy short throw they’ve been giving us all game. Rolling the pocket was also a good call there to confuse their front 4.

Arkansas was on their heels. I prefer going for the win there, but that's also understandable.
If you take enough deep shots you can get PI, a completion, or at worst it's like a punt with hardly any time left. I would like to use the possession to our advantage. We had 2 timeouts with nearly a full minute. Could have gotten into field goal range before the half IMO.

It's not like we started on our own 40 or something. We were on the 2. Dont need the infamous S. Payton/D. Brees pick 6 damn near from the end zone.
Got a first down and time was running out, tbh. The chances of Nuss throwing a pick versus throwing for a scoring drive was not in our favor.

This x1000. He’s good enough without all the antics. We don’t need all these throws where he wants to will it into existence
Extremely talented + 1st yr starting and this is what you get. In his mind im sure he only thinks about the plays he makes when he risks it, doesn’t think about how they can turn the tide of a game when they don’t go his way.
