Plenty of RPO offenses have substantially higher rushing numbers than us.

No, moron. I'm saying that Brady/E know what the hell they are doing, and you don't have a clue.

The conclusions you're trying to draw from red zone rushing TDs is moronic.

And Balance? 9 Red Zone rushing TDs and 8 Red Zone passing TDs - no other team on that list comes close to LSU for the kind of balance that really counts! TDs

From the same guy that started a thread with Mike Leach's comments about 50/50 run/pass being absurd.

Sure, but I disagree with your presumption about RPOs causing lower YPC numbers. Your concern about down the field blocking is noted, but you're ignoring the benefit of not running into stacked boxes either.

Maybe 50 years ago 50/50 run/pass made sense.

Now teams usually have a half dozen athletes as good or better than the RB. Spread that rock around. "Everybody eats"

Giving half the touches to one dude is nuts.

I never one time said the offense is bad... it looks terrific and hope it gets better by working on the running game more. It would make the offense just that much more explosive. But you don’t like that idea because it would take away from Joes stats......

No, idiot. I like CEH because he knows the intricacies of this offense and he executes well.

Half these guys want to throw a Freshman hot shot in whether he has learned the playbook (inside and out) or not.

If a bigger, faster, tougher back has the playbook down and executes - then all the better - play him.

But a big fast kid who is clueless in the Spread/RPO? Hell no!

WE have 111 passing attemtps to 97 rushes.

Were pretty balances form a play call standpoint (surprisingly)

We just need to be better when we rush. think were our offense would be if we coudl up that YPC carry number to even an average amount

CEH is averaging almost 5 yards a carry, we need a second RB to step up when he isn't playing.

No one is doing that.

The offense as a whole is great, but National Championship level offenses have typically run the ball a bit better than we are so far. Only 4 national championship teams have run the ball for less than 4 ypc in the last 40 years - 2000 Oklahoma, 1999 Florida State, 1989 Miami, and 1983 Miami.

OK you finally get it... These next two games are perfect examples on how we get other backs involved.... Are you saying that if we have two or three more backs knowing the RPO that it would hurt us??????????????? News flash.. Price or Emery COULD end up as good or better than CEH....THIS YEAR.... Al I know is it would give us an advantadge over future teams we play if that were to happen........

Certainly could happen. But right now CEH is the man for a reason. Brady/E know what they are doing.

Yes it could... And IF you are an LSU fan you would welcome it with open arms..... BUT..................

Brady/E know what they are doing.

Never said they didn't... BUT if they are smart they will give more touches the next two games to other backs so we can see what might happen... Its not like we will lose the next couple games because we try other players........

I mean we have passed the 111 times to running it 97.

Thats pretty balances, people jsut want more out of the running game. CEH has played really well, but we need strong #2, and we should use these next couple fo games to get someone besides Fournette up to speed.
