LSU lost when they had to settle for a FG inside the 5 IMO.

Even with the defense allowing that TD before half that should have never happened.

Just change either of these things, but especially the one where LSU had to settle for the FG and I believe LSU wins. I was more disappointed in that.

The score says differently. Stats don’t mean points but statistically you would have thought ole miss would have scored 50.

This looks just like last year's team-- all the same problems from a year ago remain. Poor play from the offensive line, no reliable run game, no ability to contain a mobil QB. And I full expect the same sort of results out of this team

IM more wondering why we threw for under 200 yds against a supposedly underwhelming OM secondary...

QB and WR off sync. O-line could not give time to routes to set. Road game.
Hostile place. And so on.

Two of the 1st TDs a defender is positioned perfectly to break up the pass if not straight up intercept the ball. They epically take themselves out of the plays and allow TDs. They were positioned perfectly to stop the plays. It is going to be a tough watch on the film.

Obviously Leavitt missing wide open players will be a tough watch on film.

Ole Miss played well. LSU had opportunities to take the game and really just failed to execute. There was a little questionable play calling; however, there were just epic failures in execution on well called plays/schemes.

I don't understand playing our corners so far off the ball. Do they not trust our corners?

Chambliss was dicing us up because of that. Every time he saw it, he knew at the least he had a first down.

There is more than enough tape on Chambliss to know what to call. Whatever he was thinking, was wrong. Lane had to have gave that idiot feedback on his game plan.

Can’t coach busted plays. Chambliss had time to find WR who found the seams. Once we pressured him, it help a lot.

He threw for over 300+ yards. One huge run and that is it…and he ran off a blitz.

Yep. He had net 2 yards rushing on the night. Baker was going to force him to beat us with his arm. He did beat us with his arm.

Just fully embarrassed as a fan tonight. 9 months I waited for this. Never had a lead. Favored on the road. Both sides of the ball looked like absolute dog shite

Did you watch the 3rd quarter?

Still a lot to like about this team.

Even with the shite first half and the soft zone defense with zero pressure, that third down direct snap in a tight formation lost this game. Spread the field and throw a fricking slant or run a pick play. Or even run the direct snap with the field spread that way you're not completely tipping off the play beforehand.

Of course their defense came up with two huge stops(the third down play and at the end of the game) and pressured LSU routinely while LSU's defense shite the bed for 3 quarters of the game.
