It's easy to rag on the defense, but let's give the offense and special teams their due as well. Nuss 2 horrible INTs. No running game. More false starts. Special teams... fricking garbage. 9 points left on the field and a 38 yard punting average.

The game was lost when nussmeier threw two back to back picks man. Before that the defense gave every opportunity for the offense to close the game out.

LSU could have won this game had they executed special teams and Nuss didn’t get reckless with the football.
The whole Reed game plan change is kind of unpredictable to prepare for. I don’t really blame the issues with that. It is such a curve ball. If A&M knew this offense was even close to this effective they would have already been playing it.

It makes sense since LSU can’t run the ball that the defense is never challenged at practice defending it.

Joe Sloan should be shown his pink slip for this loss. Terrible playcalling all year round that once again cost us the game. Kelly should be lit up for trying FG again from a spot where we had no prayer
