Yeah that was pretty bad luck on Doughty hitting the upslope of the mound. If it hits the top it probably gets through the infield.

This team can’t pick up RISP with <2 outs because all they can do is swing. Could have bunted that run in but instead swing away with Thompson.
Can’t hit the inside pitch at all.
Making this pitcher look like an All American Golden Spikes finalist.
When they need to win, they lose. Every big game.
