His days pitching on Sundays are about over if he doesn’t learn to throw strikes on a consistent basis. His pitch count gets out of control so early in his starts.

It's odd to me how little movement Shores has on his fastball with his arm slot and length.

Shores is out there riding this season out trying not to get hurt. A #10 draft prospect isn't a Sunday starter. He's shown Texas nothing except a lot of deep counts.
