Our best defensive outfielder is on the bench because he can't hit. Next best defensive outfielder also on the bench for the same reason. Got 19 year old freshmen in center and right.
Got a converted catcher on 1B who has been better than expected honestly, but has had several opportunities to make big plays and hasn't done it. He had the misfortune of following the best defensive 1B we've ever seen.
Milam is very good on 2B and a big improvement from last year.
Braswell isn't wonderful but statistically better than Thompson last year.
White much improved.

Jones is so lazy playing first. That last angle they showed him taking one small step when playing his position after the pitch was thrown. He needs to bounce 2 or 3 steps to his right to play the hole.
