I think it’s an optical illusion from the camera angle. If you look at the aerials of the stadium that black wall behind the foul pole goes way foul.

I get there wasn’t a shot of the ball actually passing the pole fair, but where it was when it disappeared in the shot combined with the other shot and where it landed no way that wasn’t fair
