I get that. But I guess I always thought if it was catchable, and hits glove and falls out, ruled error.
Even if scorer didn’t see it, if seen in replay, scorers always change the scorecard later.
And I’m no expert, why I’m asking. But seems like Kade gets screwed on that, and Stanfield gets away with a clear error. Just imo.

Dude has thrown the same pitch to the same location twice, to get the strike call.
He threw 3 same pitch same location pitches one time too and finally got the call.
Crazy good.
