“elite” first basemen make that play

Are you aware that, by far, the hardest ball for a first baseman to scoop is one directly in line with him? Where he has to make a split second decision which way to flip the glove, and hope he gets a perfect hop?

You don't know what you're talking about, and that's okay. You can admit that. You probably should because you sound really fricking dumb right now.

Cranford should have made a better throw

He made a horrific throw on an easy play. Good feed to 2B and plenty of time to make the turn.

Cranford should never play another game for LSU every again. Pull his arse.

I mean, I only listen nightly to Keith Hernandez explain how to play the position but yeah... I’m sure you know.

Don’t ever assume the double play with Cranford.

Bringing his 5 season hits to the plate this game.

He isn’t getting us 4 runs with his offense.

If Marceaux doesn’t stop elevating his pitches this start is going to be short lived.

Even the 2/3 outs were hit hard

Good thing we went with 0.096 Cranford for his excellent glove.

I mean, Zach Arnold's fielding is only .937

I know beloso has been so underwhelming this year but I would take beloso batting DH and Arnold at 2nd over a guy who bats .100 and isn’t even a good fielder.

It was a horrible throw, and I'm not saying Morgan should have made the play, but it was the incorrect footwork for the play at first. Morgan masks that with athleticism, but with the right footwork he is able to reach in front of him and get the ball on the short hop.

What a pathetic display of baseball.

Tre Morgan can’t handle a 1 bounce throw to get a ending inning double play.

Play at home and the catcher doesn’t even have the ball in his glove.

Your Ace pitcher lobbing high fast balls over the plate.

It’s like watching little league.

The replay wasn’t kind to him. Put it side by side with Fauci. You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
