He definitely doesn’t want to run into anyone. Very conservative on balls into the gap.

That’s college pitching in a nutshell.. 80% or so is middle to outer part of the plate. It’s why you see so many guys just stand over the plate. Command isn’t that solid to consistently go inside and challenge guys without hitting them

Scoreboard update for those who like all diamond sports. The LSU Softball Tigers are on the road at #3 Texas A&M. They started the top of the 2nd down 3-0. They finished the top of the 2nd up 5-3. Mike Elko is at the game.

The shift made Curiel look like he was on skates? Some of you have lost your damn mind. Curiel fricked up a pretty routine fly ball that landed about 18 inches next to his feet while he was all turned around.

What was Curiel doing?

Watching Stanfield block the sun with his glove at the beginning of the inning…Sun is in the eyes of the OF especially with balls hit to left center

Who knows but Stanfield was almost in position because of how bad Curiels positioning was.

Terrible blemish to Curiel. Go deliver at the plate young buck cause you just cost your team two runs for some boneheaded reason.

Do what? The ball was legit in the gap bro. Good job of hitting and he placed right where we couldn't get a glove on it.
