Don't even think about buying them until late July-early August.

California ditches the mask and opens up to full capacity June 15th. Look after that.

I ordered through the LSU ticket office (?)2 weeks ago. However, at the time I ordered, prices had not yet been set.

Why put it in quotes? You could just tell them to try the internet. Never mind, it’s very “clever.” —that’s a good use of quotes.

They still haven't been set yet. Neither has the LSU allotment amount.

As has been said before, the Rose Bowl holds over 100k. UCLA won't have half of that covered with Bruin fans. There will be PLENTY of tickets available up until kickoff, at reasonable/cheap prices. How much so will depend on restrictions in the people's republic of California at that time. The law of supply and demand isn't that hard to understand.

Why buy them just to sell them?

To borrow a line from the 47th best president in our history: "c'mon man!!". There will be PLENTY of tickets available for this game. The most LSU will bring is 40k, and UCLA about the same. That leaves 25k floating around. This will cause the prices to plummet. Anyone paying top dollar now is a fool, or is loaded and doesn't care about the cost of things.
