Seems rude on its surface but I'm sure the letters went like this
"Brian, I'll be mailing you a 20 page series of letters documenting the hithtory of Notre Dame football, the greatest sporting program in the hithtory of man kind and I'd like you to rethpond with an essay on what being the head coach of such a storied program means to you"

If you are going to throw quotes up, use correct quotes. Holtz coached 134 games at Notre Dame....do the math....100+32+2=134. Rockne coached 122 games and was 105-12-5. But Brian Kelly coached 153 games at Notre Dame for a 113 and 40 record making him the Notre Dame leader in games coached and wins. This knocks your beloved Holtz to 3rd in both.

Too bad Lou. Why did Lou feel that he had to publicize this. Remember, you did not have to play by the same rules as Kelly did at Notre Dame. You got to recruit 5 guys per year that would not have been admitted to ND except during your regime. Talk about that, Lou.
