Worst zone I’ve seen in a while. I rarely gripe about zones but that was one of the most frustrating. The INT HBP was icing in the cake

He was giving the high fastball but was squeezing the edges. But he called the same the whole game. Unlike some who change late game.

Agree completely, he was tight but extremely consistent. The only thing he gave away at times was a high strike call but he did it for both teams.

It was a very consistent zone. Not giving Kade the black part of the plate is why he had five walks. But it was fair.

He was alright. Head pissed me off on the check swing call and the review umps pissed me off calling Dickinson out.

During this CWS I have convinced myself that ALL CBB umps are not competent to call a strike on the first base edge of the plate when a right handed batter is up.

It was consistent for both sides. His zone eliminated the coastal pitcher framing pitches

He missed a ton of strikes on the outside part of the plate. Umps like this are the worst part of baseball, because hitters know to not swing.

I think that’s what caused Kades bad start a little, trying to figure out the called zones tonight. Once he had that locked down CC was done

You must have watched a different game. The ump was very tight and consistent. Did not let CC’s elite catcher steal strikes by framing.
