Most declaring today won’t get drafted.

Sometimes to strengthen the forest, you have to burn it down.

You can’t honestly believe this is true.

Questioning whether they are making the right decision is one thing. But most won’t get drafted? Come on.

ETA: Judging by the downvotes, I guess calling people out for clear overreactions is frowned upon. Right now the only early entrants who have declared are:
- Stingley
- Clark
- Flott
- Ingram
- TDP

Apparently Baskerville was fake news. But even if Baskerville did declare, 3 of those 6 aren’t going undrafted.

I’m guessing a lot of these guys don’t like Kelly’s method and message

And considering O’s method and me-first message, I’m glad they’re going.

Let’s get guys that want to play for the team out there

Stingley is guaranteed to get drafted early day 1.
Clark is day 1 or 2
Flott is day 2 or 3
Baskerville, TDP, Hines, Lewis are day 3 picks at best, if at all.

No disrespect to those guys, but another year would have helped each of them

Stingley is a top ten pick

Clark is probably going to end up being a first round pick by the time the draft comes around.

Sting is a 1st rounder. Think Clark played himself into a late second rounder. Flott could be late 3rd or early 4th. Honestly the rest could go undrafted

Hines and Lewis may not get drafted, but I don't know how much they would improve their stock by staying.

Flott is probably the only one that could've improved his draft stock, but he'll be a day 2 pick. TDP may have been able to improve his draft position by staying, but RB is such an odd position now. If you're draftable, you may as well get that extra year in the NFL.

History says he is correct. We will have several guys get draft. A few will probably be drafted pretty high. But there will be more that go undrafted. There’s only 256 total pics, including compensatory picks.

History says 64% of our early entrants over the past decade have gone in the first 3 rounds, and only 17% have gone undrafted.

But you guys should feel free to continue making shite up.

It's true. Late 5th or beyond that or not drafted. They making a big mistake. Stingley is a bad arse but his best play was 2019, his stats dropped a ton after that season. Damone Clark ah maybe a 3rd round at best. The others ah maybe a 5th round if they sniff that. The best decision would be to come back another year and develop their craft. Their stats, their craft sucked arse the last 2 years. Chase struck gold but how often you get that ? Strike gold in college, strike gold in pros whith your qb after not play a year to back yourself up. These kids are making a mistake.

OP said more than half would go undrafted. That’s what I called him out on.

I wonder why that could be and why Ricks was able to make so many plays.

Probably had nothing to do with the fact teams stopped throwing his way as often and started testing other guys.

He doesn’t have the body of work or near enough size to play in the nfl. I can see someone taking a chance with him, but prolly 6th or 7th or as an UDFA.

Fulton nearly went 3rd round and he was as legit and proven as a college CB could be.

If Fulton doesn’t get suspended he is a first round pick.

Coming back doesn’t mean your stock goes up.

Yeah, you have to think tampering with a drug test is a pretty big red flag for NFL GM’s. The fact that he still went in the 2nd round kind of shows how good he was.
