Doesn't matter. All bowls, short of the traditional big name bowls and the playoff bowls, are meaningless anyway. Meaningless.

agreed, the tv veiwership is what counts. TV viewership NC for us. Everyone will tune in to see the magic return to LSU. Its been gone for 15 years but now it is back.

To hell with the game for me. Why? It is on a Tuesday night at 9 pm eastern and I have to get up at 2:30 AM for work!!! Get this, I am off every Tuesday! Missed the bowl game last year because it was a day game and I had to work!

It Taint Worth It! I have to work 14 hours on Wednesdays and if I DVR the game, I wont be able to watch it until Thursday night, because I am out of town!

but we haven't seen this since 1995-96 its the good times man. a little lack of sleep is well worth seeing the magic return to this machine of a program.

If I was a 24 year kid sure, but I am 44 and I cant do it anymore. Also, I am sure Miles would piss me off too much to get any sleep. Amazing and what are the odds that LSU's bowl game would be on a Tuesday night?

Our defense usually has success against TAMU and weaker talented spread teams. Think of this TT team as WKU but with a dual threat QB, a legit run game, and better players at WR.
Keep in mind that TAMU (annual whipping boy for some reason) was the only team we held below 19 and even the actual worst offenses scored 22-24.
A an offense like Texas Tech, AND them playing in Texas? I expect a close high scoring game. No way I predict a double digit win by either team.

I agree with this. Anyone saying that this is sure "L" for Lsu is either trolling or ignorant of college football.

I almost pulled the trigger, but I really don't want to be holding Texas bowl tickets to see Arkansas vs. Texas Tech.

They have but we also lost to a team we were far better than last year in the bowl game. We have a history of not giving two fricks once we lose a chance for a championship. No moves have yet been made on this staff and when we trotted out vs arky and ole miss our players were disinterested in playing hard. If they go out and play half arse vs tech then we could end up losing a game we shouldn't lose.

The way our fans are bitching about the team so much in social media, I surprised we even got this bowl. Per the rant, no one will be buying tix bc we are a horrible team.
