If this game is played, anywhere, then it shows all once again how badly Alleva got bent over by the UF gang last year. And will be made out as the bad guy again this year. Smh

The game will definitely be cancelled or moved.

100% chance of that

AND let's face it, guys.

The LAST thing the suits take into consideration is the average fan who wants to see the game played somewhere.

They don't give a shite about you.

ESPN has plenty other games to fill the slot.

Those with financial interests will collect insurance and the game will be canceled.

So with a canceled BYU game and Florida on the road instead of home, our 2017 schedule has been greatly modified by the weather--AND incompetence and apathy.

It's going to be played in Provo IMO. It sucks, but this is just how things go when you have football games scheduled during hurricane season on the gulf coast. We've been in this situation before.

I'd rather play up there than have it canceled altogether.

Everyone knew it would be bad, but this was biblical type of raining last night all around Houston

Shouldn't LSU release a new statement about the game, like today maybe? Alleva better make this game happen. A cancellation would totally piss the fan base off.

If rain is still falling by Tuesday my feeling is that it will be called off in Houston. But unlike Florida, BYU is not in a must play situation. So if they want the money then they may agree to a move to Baton Rouge. Otherwise it'll be cancelled. MHO only.

Also lets not remove the fact that this system could very well move over here in SELA. Then we would be in the same boat(no pun intended) as Houston.

There is no way this game will be played in Houston. The flooding will be devastating. An announcement should come today regarding if and where the game will be played IMO.

Is it all his fault?

Of course not.

But Alleva, unfair or not, is associated with all these weather-related cancellations and screw-ups.

And in those seven-figure high profile corporate jobs, perception is reality.

"ESPN should use “reasonable efforts” to reschedule the game if it is canceled due to extreme weather, according to the game contract between LSU and ESPN. LSU is due $4 million from ESPN within 30 days of the game date. The network and school are not liable, for any reason, if the game is canceled because of weather, the contract reads."

News as of yesterday.

The game could be played in Kansas City. Chiefs or Royals are not playing this coming weekend, making Arrowhead a great location.
