They will have to use outside zone, traps, and screens to give their rbs space to make plays.
If they can have success getting to the second level some, play action and dB communication routes can give them their best chance to hit some big plays.
Lsu will need to tackle well, communicate in the secondary, and do their job assignments.

Best case scenario for fsu is if lsu comes out rusty with penalties, turnovers, and coverage busts. And the fsu running backs outclassed the linebackers.
Even if this happens, lsu will likely make adjustments and use superior talent and depth to pull away in the 2nd half.

If fsu falls behind early and lets boutte and nabors burn them deep, it could get ugly. (2 td or more by end of 3rd).

this is what worries me....the new starters were at McNeese and ULL last year.

You are talking about Colby Richardson and Mekhi Garner right?

I knew Colby Richardson has move up into a potential starting role but I did not know Mekhi Garner did as well.

Based on practice reports I feel pretty good about Richardson. He reminds me of the late bloomer type. They type of athlete the NFL is full of. The type of athlete that wasn't good enough out of high school to play D1 but thrived in DII, gets drafted and has a long NFL career. He was all state track athlete in high school and incredibly athletic but just did not have the muscle (160 pounds) to play D1. Now Colby has the same attributes plus the added muscle at 190 pounds. LSU has Richardson for his rookie NFL season.

They don’t have the QB or the coach to come to New Orleans & beat LSU. Bet that.

No. They don't have the OL and overall talent to beat LSU. Their coach is very good and likely the only reason they have a chance.
The rbs give them some legitimate playmakers. But that's probably their only position group advantage.
Hard to win when you lose all of the position group battles.

When they are -17yds rushing and 38yds thru the air at half time they gonna have to rethink everything. STTDB

I mean they aren't necessarily wrong with some of their points, but that doesn't mean they actually have an advantage. For example, they say are LB's are average. That may very well be true, but if our LB's are average, what do they consider theirs? They can argue that we aren't great at some positions sure, but that doesn't mean that they are better than us.

They also made inexperience a huge deal which it Most definitely could be but just because Will Campbell is a freshman or Goodwin on has like 60 career rushing yards doesn't mean that both guys won't be good. Every player has to have a first year as a starter at some point.

IMO the only way LSU struggles is mental mistakes...penalties and turnovers.

If we are making mental mistake penalties and mental mistake turnovers then it could be a long year. It pretty much means either the coaches are not coaching well (and I don't believe that) or the coaching is not sinking in yet.

I believe this will be a well coached team and mental mistakes will be at a minimum.

Effort mistakes are a different issue. That happens to the best.

Both of our advantages are HUGE though. Makes a big difference having a WR of Boutee’s level opposed to a Koy Moore type, if the even have that. Our DL is going to be legendary this year.

Honestly our “elite” guys are more elite, and we have more of them. Also, we don’t have a legal retard coaching this year.

I would say their WR corps is similar to ours in 2018. They have a bunch of Stephan Sullivan and Dee Anderson's out there. Tall guys that can make a play here and there but don't take over games. Micah Pittman would be their Justin Jefferson but Pittman honestly looked slow af in the Duquenses game.

I’m thinking that we will be like those Oregon teams with chip Kelly but less tempo . Still tempo but not trying to be as fast as possible.

A bunch of quick hitting passes with some rpos attached to the run game

Interesting how they try to rationalize things that any other fan will know just aren’t true. Makes you realize how we may do that in a sense.

This is why I just stated what they said and didn't really argue much against it. After UCLA, I will write no checks until I see us play.

FSU Oline. 3star - 3star - 3star - 3star - 2star

Vs

4 and 5star DL players, all front 4 will be in NFL and drafted likley in 1st or second round.

That's huge.
