No, this is a off year for baseball. It happens. Still the best overall program in the country. LSU baseball will be back. It's not the end of the world but it isn't happening this season.

It’s definitely not over. Anyone who thinks this is a straight up bad baseball team is not smart.

We had horrendous pitching outside of Paul Skenes and maybe a couple of good outings from a couple other guys last year. It’s the same story this year, the difference is no Dylan Crews, no Paul Skenes, and a much tougher early conference schedule.

Tennessee has scored over 50 total runs in their last 3 games. Missouri swept Florida. Are you really confident we don’t lose the first 6 SEC series?

I’m pretty confident we don’t lose the series with Missouri. Despite them sweeping Florida they are still not good. They swept Tennessee last year too and finished with 20 conference losses.

This year is a lost year.

Even if this is the case the season can still be a fun one to watch if the team can find a little more consistency at the plate and find a few more arms to count on from the pitching staff.

I enjoy watching Travinski, Jones, White hit. I always enjoy watching LSU baseball but yes this year has been more frustrating due to the inconsistent play and I do agree this might be a rebuild year.
